This page will have a variety of job and employment related topics.  Included will be information on apprenticeships as well as current externships that might be available.  We will highlight job skill traits, as well as give you a variety of websites related to job trends in our area as well as the rest of the state.  This is where you begin to make a plan for your future based on your apptitude and the opportunities available.

Interview questions can not only be tough, but completely catch us off guard.  Here is where a series of common inteview questions will be displayed along with the best possible answers.  Remember, so much of how you present yourself with confidence and assuredly is the key to landing that job; especially when you are making a first impression.  

What choices do you have as you prepare for your future in the job market?  I am glad you asked.  Here is where I will list them, along with a brief description of the logical steps to focusing on the career path that best suits you..

The State of California has a special program to help individuals from 18 to 25.  This is an awesome program designed to help individuals into the work force and all the different aspects of that endeavor; from resumes, to cover letters, to interview skills, job referrals etc. We are privileged to have representatives from the Employment Development Office or EDD come and do a presentation every year.  The contact information to the special person who will help you understand and utilize this program is found by clicking on the picture.  

This is a wonderful resource for career exploration and discovery.  There are so many career pathways that are emerging in our ever changing world.  Those state and national trends can be researched from the various sites located here.  This is an ever changing list as new information through the web becomes available.  It will be updated regularly and we will visit it regularly, too.
