This video will show you the safe operating procedures used with the miter saw.  The miter saw is one of the mainstays of the shop environment and is used both for rough and finish crosscutting.  
 

The Band saw is one of the most versatile power woodworking tools in the shop.  It is often used for curved parts but has many other uses.  Click on the picture to access the power point presentation.  The band saw buttom will access the safety test.  Print it out and turn it in to take the performance test.  

           The Table Saw

 

 

This is definitely the "heart" of the shop.  The table saw is the "anchor' to so many "process" paths found when putting a project together in the shop environment.  It's versatility is profound but its use in "ripping" and "crosscutting" is very valuable.  The accessed article gives you that information.  There are questions found through the button access.
